Evans launches autumn and winter styles

From autumn workwear to winter evening wear, Evans embraces this season's latest trends from the catwalk to transform wardrobes.

Modelled in sensational style by Crystal Renn, the new 2008 collections include the most flattering silhouettes and designs for the curvaceous woman.

"There are fabulous mixes of patterns and colours using tweeds, denim and antique floral prints in addition to knitwear essentials and the all important winter coat, a seasonal style staple. Key influences are from around the world and the collections include a touch of eclectic New York vintage, bohemian Russian style and English eccentric tailoring,"

said Ian Puttock, Brand Manager, Evans.

1970s New York is a key inspiration for Evans and the range comprises of vintage denim, textured and corduroy trousers, lace trim knits and trendy plaid and check shirts. Pretty georgette blouses are perfect for adding a touch of femininity and look great teamed with textured wide leg trousers, waistcoats, belted blazers and long chunky knit scarves.

"One of the season's key trends is the bohemian Russian doll look which includes beautiful hand beaded and embroidered chiffon dresses and smocks with blood red satin detailing and to add a gothic edge, mix with chunky knits, boots and faux fur for a truly authentic look, " added Puttock.

Grown up dressing is conveyed throughout the season with textured floral prints and checks, tailored blazers and waistcoats, belted coats and stunning pussy bow tops. The colour palette is influenced by the autumnal countryside with a mixture of dusty green, stone, burgundy and ivory.

There are statement mock croc patent clutch bags in berry red and deep purple, peep toe shoe boots with patent and suede detailing and satin laces and an array of sparkling jewellery to add a touch of glamour to every outfit.

"It's not just what you wear, but what you wear it with that's important and Evans has a beautiful collection of accessories that will help you complement every outfit to welcome the season with the finest fashion essentials,"

said Puttock.
