This year, a group of Batelco staff have volunteered to help with distribution, and will accompany the delivery teams in their home town areas.

Each gift basket weighs about 10 kg and includes essential foodstuffs that are traditionally in high demand during the Holy Month. They will be delivered to families who have been identified by the charities as needing extra support during the holy month.

The group of volunteers recently met with Batelco Chairman Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa who praised the group for their commitment to help those less fortunate from their home areas.
