Officials in Egypt have confirmed that the Sunday edition of an independent newspaper, Al Dustour, was taken off the streets to prevent distribution, according to Reuters. The official news agency denied confiscation, reporting that 'the public prosecutor is investigating the paper's violation of a news blackout on a case currently before the public prosecutor', in reference to allegations by the newspaper of high-ranking involvement in the Tamim murder case.
