The MBC show as it now likes to be known has re-launched as an industry event with a new fresh look, new dates and new features, backed up by a new website and media campaign & CSR PR campaign.
The company has re-focused on its vision - to provide a professional, informative & fun platform to sample, test and purchase products.
Being able to connect with customers in an enjoyable and stimulating environment leads to positive interactive experience which enriches the brand-customer relationship.
"The MBC show has a loyal audience who love it and return year after year, but we think we have an opportunity to expand that audience,"
said Shannon Norris, Events Director for TME the organizers of the event.
Norris said, "In the UAE, 25% of the population is under 10 years old, with an annual growth rate of 3.38%. This is double that of KSA, 4 times that of the USA and 30 times of the European Union. The UAE nursery industry is blooming!"
Launchpad is an area of the show dedicated to new companies whose products have never before been exhibited in the UAE The MBC show offers an unprecedented platform to network with current and potential future clients.
In response to customer input concerning crowding around the stage a new layout design has been created. Additionally in order to make sure customers and visitors are able to easily find what they need quickly, TME have decided to improve the show guide & website with icons to indicate the product sectors.
The show seeks to help develop ecologically sound practices. "We're hoping to be a channel to get people thinking about their environment, for instance we are launching a campaign with Jute Xpo to provide 1000's of children with Jute book bags for school, they are practical and offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to plastic bags," explained Norris.
As well as providing an interactive arena for innovative products, the show seeks to help build brands and market share. "We're are the gateway to thousands of parents eager to provide their children with the best products they possibly can," Norris added.
The show will be held at Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre between 18th-20th December 2008 and is expected to attract more than 25,000 visitors and unsurpassed networking opportunities within the industry.
