Dubai CCI supporting corporate social responsibility

Dubai Chamber donates computer sets and accessories to Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Foundation.
This initiative goes in line with Dubai Chamber's interest in enhancing its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), encouraging its implementation among institutions and corporations, as well as supporting the efforts of national foundations that provide charity and humanitarian services.
HE Engineer Hamad Buamim, Director General of Dubai Chamber pointed out that the donation aims at raising the awareness of the significance of CSR and strengthening its concept among the working foundations and firms in Dubai." CSR is an integral component of Dubai Chamber's new vision. Dubai Chamber encourages all businesses to apply the best institutional practices to serve their community and society," He said.
Buamim stressed the importance of CSR in the development of the community as it represents one of the main driving forces of the community. "Our social responsibility towards institutions that provide special services in the area of charitable work is doubled," Buamim added.
He urged the public and private sectors in Dubai to follow the steps of Dubai Chamber in promoting a sense of responsibility towards community which in return will promote the sustainability of Dubai's flourishing business community through extending a helping hand to the local social clubs, charity foundations and societies.
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Foundation welcomed the kind gesture of Dubai Chamber pointing out the pioneering role of Dubai Chamber in the development of Dubai.
