'Talk More' on Independence Day with Etisalat's off peak rates

On the occasion of 61st Independence Day of India and Pakistan, Etisalat is enabling its customers from India and Pakistan to connect with their families and friends in their homeland.

The Etisalat customers in the UAE can call Pakistan at an off-peak rate on 14th August. The off-peak rate to Pakistan will be applicable from 9 pm on Wednesday, 13th August till 7 am on Saturday, 16th August.

Additionally, Etisalat customers can also subscribe to an initial free news alert service, from both India and Pakistan for a week. Customers can subscribe to the news alert by dialing "INEWS to 1110" for India, KNEWS to 1110 for Kerala and "PKNEWS to 1110" for Pakistan.

Customers who have subscribed to Etisalat's international cost-savings calling plans - Global Friends & Family and the Favourite Country Plans - will be able to enjoy further discounts in addition to off-peak rates.

Etisalat currently provides discounts of 30% on the fixed line calls, 25% on the postpaid mobile calls, and 20% on the Wasel prepaid mobile calls for subscribers of Favourite Country Plan. For the Global Friends & Family plan, customers can avail additional discounts of 20%, for a monthly fee.
