It is also the only date processing company to win the prestigious award of His Majesty The Sultan for the five best factories in Oman in 2007.
"I inherited this passion for dates from my father and through the years, we have modernized and enhanced the conventional trading and processing method. We have also been exporting our products to different parts of the Middle East and Asia,"
said Mr. Saud Al Zakwani, Chairman of United Dates Factory LLC.
Mr. Nasser Al Kindy, the business partner and Director of Administration said:
"Our beginning was modest; we used to have a farm house outside the capital area with a handful of employees processing manually. However, after two years of operation, we relocated in the capital due to the growing market demand."
