"Jet Aviation's tremendous global growth during the past couple of years, with new start-ups and joint ventures being announced worldwide, has led us to realign our organizational structure for the EMEA & Asia region,"
says André Wall, Jet Aviation's COO for EMEA & Asia.
Wall adds, "The new structure will now be in alignment with our US organization which will help us to more easily integrate new ventures and increase the power of our global service network. Equally important, it will allow us to continue to provide our customers with our global standards of excellence and the highest possible service delivery no matter which Jet Aviation location around the world they go to."
The completions line of business will be led by Norbert Marx who also will continue in his role as general manager of Jet Aviation Basel. Jürg Reuthinger, who has been responsible for the aircraft management division in EMEA & Asia since 1999, will be in charge of the newly formed aircraft services, which include aircraft management and charter. Responsible for all MRO operations within the EMEA & Asia organization will be Christof Spath, who is based in Basel and recently was appointed as senior vice president and head of maintenance for EMEA & Asia. All heads of the newly created lines of business organization will be reporting directly to André Wall.
"I am excited to work with the new team and also welcome Christof Spath on board our growing organization," says Wall.
Christof Spath joined Jet Aviation effective July 1, 2008 from an aerospace company where he served as Executive Vice President 'Aircraft Services' and was a Member of the Executive Board. During his career he also worked at PFW Aerospace in Speyer, Germany as Head of 'Strategy and Corporate Development' and then as a Member of the Board of Directors responsible for the Division 'Sales and Program Management'.
