Dedicated to providing both a platform to discuss global developments as well as the must attend event for gaming fans in the Middle East, GAMES will showcase all the latest and greatest that the video game industry has to offer.

The Middle East population tops 200 million, and with half of that population young and gaming crazy, this gaming-only event, will let people who share a passion for gaming try out all the upcoming titles, as well as meeting the people who created them.

Supported by publishers such as Electronic Arts, Activision, Ubisoft, Take Two, Midway, SEGA, Vivendi Games and THQ, the event will host guest speakers as well as provide the public with sneak peaks and full demos on the latest titles before their release in the region.

To be held on the 17th and the 18th of September 2008, at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, the first day will be reserved for trade only, and will include presentations, discussions, an award show and gala dinner. The morning of the 18th is also reserved for the gaming industry when PlayStation Division, Sony Gulf and Microsoft's Xbox 360 will each hold a trade presentation.

GAMES will open to the public on the evening of the 18th, from 6pm until late, and gamers will have the chance to try out never-before seen titles from the leading publishers in the industry.
