McDonald's UAE achievements awarded by McDonald's Corporation

The ceremony which was attended by McDonald's franchisees in the GCC and organized by McDonald's Middle East Development Company recognized the collective efforts of the local owners and operators in developing the brand in their local markets and across the region.

The award presented to McDonald's UAE signifies the achievements of the local owner and operator in the country in growing and expanding the business within the overall regional framework.

Commenting on the award, Rafic Fakih, Managing Director, McDonald's UAE said:

McDonald's Gulf Coop is a joint committee of local franchisees in the GCC, which plans and executes regional and local initiatives within the brand's overall strategy and the common preferences across the region. All McDonald's restaurants in the GCC are locally owned and operated by local businessmen with 100% local capital and investment.

Operating since 1994, McDonald's UAE today has 53 restaurants geographically located to service customers in many areas, committed to the wellbeing of the society with active social responsibility agenda and maintaining high quality products served in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
