Held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Department of Civil Aviation Government of Dubai, and Chairman of the Emirates Group, guests will once again be blown away by the first class entertainment flown in straight from the stages of New York's West End.
The 'Grease Lightening' theme will see the performers taking their audience through the decades with a series of tracks from the popular musical 'Grease' as well as a range of tracks from the 60s, 70s and 80s, sure to get guests up on the dance floor.
The night will see the official crowning of the Middle East Oil Baron 2008, an individual judged by industry peers to have made the most outstanding contribution to the Middle East's energy sector in the last 12 months.
The event is the perfect excuse for guests to don their glad-rags as glamorous fashion chain, Aftershock, will be setting up a photo booth so attendees can be judged, with awards being presented to the Best Dressed Couple and Best Dressed Female.
Eileen Michael, Managing Director, Reflex Publishing commented:
"The Oil Barons' Ball has become a staple social and networking event for Dubai's social scene. The event has gone from strength to strength and this year we are looking forward to the best year yet."
"It is undoubtedly a fantastic evening to spend enjoying great entertainment and great company, with the Ball attracting the most influential movers and shakers from the energy sector. We have founded a solid reputation for being the most exclusive event of the season."
DOYLES, a pressure-control equipment manufacturing company, will be the platinum sponsor of the star-studded event, which already has only 700 tickets remaining and looks set to sell out soon.
Dan Henderson at DOYLES, said: "We are delighted to be the platinum sponsors for such a prestigious event and the company is proud to be affiliated with the Oil Barons' Ball, this event is the most pivotal in the industry and we are pleased to have established a relationship with it."
