The idea of establishing this center started in a small house that later flourished and grew thanks to the efforts of two volunteers Abeer Khalid Al-Jemaz and Abeer Yousef Al-Safran thus the center Abeer2 was founded. The founders have established a volunteer center which the state of Kuwait is very proud due to its humane and non-profit purposes that aims to help those with special needs along with their families and friends.

Autism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life. It is four times more prevalent in boys than girls and knows no racial, ethnic, or social boundaries. Family income, lifestyle, and educational levels do not affect the chance of autism's occurrence.
