During the two day programme, Abeer2 will hold handicraft sessions for its students, display their work of art and conduct few workshops.

Commenting on the event, Steve Bunce, Mall Director of The Avenues, said:

"Autism presents complex challenges which calls for a high level of awareness in the society and this campaign will be able to impart more information on autism. We are delighted to support Abeer2 in this noble cause and extend the use of our premises to them. This will allow them to interact with the shoppers and highlight the challenges of autism."

On the other hand, Abeer Al Safran commented on the event saying: "Our main objective at Abeer2 is to help those with special needs along with their families and friends. Our combined efforts with the Avenues will no doubt effectively spread awareness of this fairly new to the society disorder", "At Abeer2 centre we also provide service to autistic children to help them gain independence and integrate into the society through social, cultural, sport and other entertaining activities" She added.

The Avenues has actively supported various outreach programmes in Kuwait including the 'Sweethearts Blood Donation' campaign and the 'Blooming for Life' fund-raising event to support the UN Millennium Development Goals. It also hosted a Cancer Awareness Programme and the obesity awareness drive, 'Join the Movement'. The Avenues has also keenly supported the Mentor Arabia drug abuse awareness programmes.
