Qatargas sponsors Sony Ericsson Tennis Championship

During a brief ceremony held at the Qatar Tennis Federation, Qatargas officially handed over a cheque to Qatar Tennis Federation.

This contribution will grant Qatargas the official bronze sponsorship of the Sony Ericsson Championships Doha 2008, organized by Qatar Tennis federation.

The cheque was presented by Mr. Abdulla Hijji, Qatargas Public Relations Manager to Mr. AbdulRahman Saad Al Shathri, the President of Qatar Tennis Federation.

Mr. Ghanim Al-Kuwari, Qatargas Chief Operating Officer Administration said:

"We are glad to be part of such a prestigious championship. Supporting such events is in line with our corporate citizenship. Qatargas has partnered with Qatar Tennis federation during many major events over the past years and we will continue our support in promoting sporting and other social events in Qatar."


Sony Ericsson Championships Doha 2008 will be held from 4th till 9th November 2008 in Doha - Qatar with top world class players competing.

This is the first time where such a world class tournament arrives to Middle East - Doha from Madrid -Spain.
