Mr Mohammad Al Tayer, director, protocol and public relations division, DCA and other senior management staff of DCA, received the delegation. The members from the delegation were representing 30 German organisations involved in various activities such as telecom, construction, and technology.

The German Business Council has shown keen interest in the facilities offered at Dubai International Airport to the business community. This familiarisation is third of its kind, the earlier ones being for the Dutch Business Group and Australian Group.

This initiative to promote facilities at Dubai International Airport has been developed by the marketing and corporate communications division of the Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai.

The marketing and corporate communications division is planning on organising more such trips as part of its overall marketing plan. The familiarisation trip includes a special presentation on the facilities and future expansion programme, tour of the airport followed by lunch at Dubai International Hotel.
