Mannai Corporation donates brand new Subaru Impreza to Qatar's Eid Charity

The gesture comes as yet another initiative in Mannai Corporation's active humanitarian assistance program.

"Under the vision and leadership of His Highness the Emir, Qatar has been playing a proactive role in reaching out to countries and regions in need,"

explained Khalid Mannai, Executive Director of the company.

"and as a leading trading institution in the country, we have been inspired by that generosity to walk the same path and do all we can for those less fortunate than us. We made a decision to support the Eid Charity for the active role it has played in bringing relief and support to even the most stricken places around the world. And since a car would be an indispensable asset to any institution or organization in the country, we decided to donate a Subaru Impreza, which is a practical saloon car and will undoubtedly give them many years of faithful service."

He added.

The Eid Charity was established in 1995 under the patronage of Sheikh Eid Bin Muhammad Al Thani, and has since been providing human and charitable assistance to the affected, the needy and the persecuted in areas inflicted by famine, drought and natural & humanitarian disasters.

The charity also plays an active role in providing educational and religious services in Islamic societies that do not have the material capabilities to do so themselves.

"We are very grateful to Mannai for this generous gift," said a representative of Eid Charity. "The car will certainly go a long way in helping us carry out our mission more effectively, and we appreciate the gesture of support from Mannai."

He added: "This is not the first time that Mannai Corp. (Corporation) or one of its subsidiaries has been an active contributor to charitable projects. In fact, the Mannai Group has been a shining example of charity and generosity through the decades, and we are sure their support will continue to help us reach out to many more people over the years to come."
