Qatari youth join IBQ's unique Qatari Training and Development Program

The International Bank of Qatar announced that it has successfully recruited 12 talented and enthusiastic Qatari nationals for their Qatari Training and Development Program.

IBQ's ambitious growth and expansion strategy has generated an increasing employment opportunities and IBQ has a clear focus on recruiting Qatari nationals to fill these new positions.

Managing Director George Nasra, said:

"IBQ is fully committed to the nationalization drive of the State and to developing Qatari nationals who will one day become the future financiers. We have outlined several initiatives to provide career development opportunities for enthusiastic and talented Qatari youth and our Qatari Training and Development program is one of them. . Our Qatari Training and Development program has been developed to attract high caliber Qatari youth and to see such a large number respond and successfully join our staff is a great testament to our efforts."


IBQ has staffed its HR department with a professional and dynamic team who has developed new recruitment processes with a special focus on identifying, recruiting and retaining Qatari talent.

IBQ has also established a new training department with the mission of developing training programmes for the career advancement of Qatari youth.

IBQ's Qatari Training and Development Programme is unique in that it is tailored to the skills and interests of the Qatari recruits.

"We have very flexible programs that are tailored to the individual skills and interests of our recruit. Our new Qatari trainees will spend adequate time in each department of the bank learning while being mentored by our best employees with the intention of moving them into positions of responsibility as soon as possible," said Kevin Worrall, Head of Human Resources as IBQ.

"We also have several Qatari specialists on our HR team who overlook the implementation of our Qatari Training and Development Program so we are in a position to really provide sound guidance, as well as inspiration to our Qatari recruits."
