Millennium Energy Industries celebrates two strategic industrial solar heating successes

The first solar solution, implemented in the Jordache textile factory, will supply the manufacturing process with 250,000 liters of 60°C hot water daily throughout both summer and winter - used for bleaching and washing jeans supplied to a number of leading jeans brands. Annual expected savings - based on actual performance numbers from the first two phases of the project during the past year - are projected to reach $600,000 at current energy prices, with a payback after approximately one year.

The second, implemented for the PMC Chocolate Factory in Amman, maintains the high temperatures needed for chocolate production - 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is the primary source of energy for heating in the industrial process.

Payback for the project is expected to take two years. Mr. Elias Hosh, General Manager of, PMC commented:
