Hospitals ordered to keep proper medical records

All private hospitals and clinics in Bahrain have been ordered to maintain complete patient records by the Health Ministry's Licensure Directorate, reported Gulf Daily News. Dr Tawfeeq Naseeb, the head of the Licensure Directorate, denied there had been any specific provocation to issue the directive, but said it was neeeded to 'reinforce' the requirements of the law to the clinics and hospitals.
