Rawabi Telecom awarded two more licenses in the Kingdom of Bahrain

The licenses were awarded to RTS on the 31st of July 2008.

Rawabi, under the NFL, is licensed to provide national termination to its customers, national and international VoIP telephony services with its own numbering range, and provide customers with special and premium telephone numbers for their use.

RTS is planning to approach the TRA for national numbers, premium numbers, special numbers and short codes.

These numbers, according to the National Numbering Plan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, would be allocated to RTS within 28 days from the date of application. RTS will provide its telecom services in Bahrain through its fully owned subsidiary, Next Generation Network Solutions (NGNS).

As an operator holding the IFL license, RTS can now provide solutions with direct international connectivity such as VSAT. RTS will offer its customers with international voice and data access as part of its customized solutions to its corporate customers. RTS currently holds an IFL, NFL, VAS, ISP and ISL licenses in Baharain.
