Arab Bank opens a new branch specialized in Islamic Banking services in Qatar

Arab Bank has announced the opening of a new branch specialized in Islamic banking services in Hamad Grand Street in Doha, Qatar.

The opening of the new branch comes within Arab Bank's strategy, which entails specific plans to expand in Arab and international markets, amid huge developments these markets are witnessing in term of their structure and the diversity of products.

Commenting on the development, Regional Director of Arab Bank branches in Qatar Saeed Abu Gharbiyeh said the opening of the new branch exemplifies Arab Bank's vision to expand its banking operations and keep up with the requirements of the accelerating development in the banking sectors in Qatar.

Abu Gharbiyeh added that the bank's efforts to develop its banking Islamic products and services come in response to the increasing demand on these services, especially since the Qatari market has witnessed unprecedented quality developments in the Islamic banking services over the past few years.

Abu Gharbiyeh indicated that the new branch features advanced technological, banking and security systems, stressing the excellence of the services the branch will be offering through well-qualified staff of wide experience in the field.

The new branch will be offering all banking services such as account opening, murabaha, current accounts, savings, investment deposits and financing services, among others.

Mr. Hani Mohammad Mashaal who enjoys a wide banking experience, will be managing the new branch.
