Ahli United Bank (Egypt) announces its H1 2008 results

Ahli United Bank (Egypt) has announced its results for the first 6 months of 2008.

The bank posted a net profit of LE106.1m, an increase of 30.1% on the same period last year.

Net interest income came in at LE94.9m, an 11.2% increase over the same period in 2007 and net operating income at LE182.5m increased by 40.1% compared to the same period 2007.

Total assets increased by 23.5% to LE7.1bn and loans to customers grew by 25.4 % to LE3.1bn.

The Bank continues to focus hard on improving customer service, creating a rewarding and challenging environment for staff and providing quality earnings and returns for sharehloders.
