The free Arabic course and workshops are aimed at promoting cultural awareness and sensitivity within the UAE.

The ninth month of Muslim lunar calendar which is devoted to fasting and observed by billions of Muslims throughout the world is soon approaching and there is a sense of curiosity and inquisitiveness from the general non-Muslim population within the U.A.E with regards to what is expected from them during the holy month of Ramadan.

To address the above, Eton Institute of Languages will be conducting a free Arabic course and cultural sensitivity workshops that will educate the expat community about the Arab way of life, the Arabic language, history, culture, religion, and the law. Expatriates can learn what they can expect from the community and what the community expects from them while they are in U.A.E.

Dr. Eli Abi Rached, Managing Director, Eton Institute of Languages commented: "We at Eton Institute wish everyone a very happy Ramadan and further emphasise our commitment to teaching languages and soft-skills by offering free Arabic course and cultural sensitivity workshops during the month of Ramadan.

"Recent unfortunate events" Dr. Rached added "which took place in Dubai further stress the importance of cultural awareness within the larger population in U.A.E and we encourage everyone to attend such workshops to be aware of the cultural differences from country to country and honour the laws of the region."

The free Arabic course will start on the 7th September and will be conducted three times a week on Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday between 4 pm and 5 pm. The course will run throughout the month of Ramadan until the 30th September at the institute in Dubai Knowledge Village.

Cultural Sensitivity workshops will be conducted free of cost twice in Ramadan on the 10th September and 24th September between 6 pm and 9 pm.
