Oil falls for a fourth day

Crude oil fell for a fourth day in New York yesterday amidst forecasts that Tropical Storm Fay will miss rigs and platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, and as the stronger dollar limited the appeal of commodities, reported Bloomberg. Crude oil for September delivery fell as much as $1.23, or 1.1%, to $111.64 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, and traded at $112.24 at 12:08 p.m. London time.
