Robert Taylor-Hughes, Managing Director of Beiersdorf Middle East and project owner stated:
"The concept of the Nivea Haus Dubai is in keeping with the ethos of the Hamburg store but with some significant changes due to the cultural and dynamic environment of our region."
Taylor-Hughes added, "We want to offer our consumers express beauty and retail services negating the need for more traditional spa treatments. There will be separate ladies and gents grooming lounges as well as private treatment cabins. In total we will have more than 28 working positions for our team of experts."
A unique Brand Store Concept
The 'London Design Agency' was awarded both the architectural design and the actual fit-out.
Justin Smith, Principle Architect and Project Manager stated:
"It's a very exciting project. Nivea is such a powerful modern brand with great heritage and we are keen to translate this within the architecture whilst remaining functional throughout."
The first Nivea Haus was set up in Hamburg to astounding success leading the global cosmetics brand to consider the establishment of a second outlet in Dubai as a joint venture between Beiersdorf Middle East and the local distributors.
The Beiersdorf partners in the United Arab Emirates, New Medical Centre, are responsible for the financial resources and staffing of the store. The Store Manager is provided by Beiersdorf Middle East along with the necessary training required in order to offer perfect service at all levels. Sally-Anne Simmons, formerly with Clarins Technical Training, has been appointed to fulfil this important role.
Premium location in Dubai Mall
Nivea Haus in Dubai will be located on the first floor of the soon-to-open landmark, Dubai Mall, right above the grand entrance forming part of the dedicated beauty zone.
