The initiative is part of DPG's Corporate Responsibiity (CR) programme 'Mubadara', which was established last year to contribute towards the overall benefit of the community, the environment, the employees, and the market.

Fareda Abdullah, Executive Director of Human Capital at DPG, said:

"Since the launch of Mubadara, we have undertaken several initiatives to ensure the well-being of our employees and the community at large. Towards this purpose, we relentlessly seek opportunities that will substantially benefit the communities we operate in. "We are conscious of serving the less privileged segments of the society. As wisely advocated by the UAE, we, as a responsible corporate entity, are glad to step in and play our part in support of the needy, and enable them to fulfill their spiritual duties."

Saeed Bushalat, CEO of Salwan Property Management, said: "With the onset of the Holy Month of Ramadan, DPG seeks to reflect the spirit of the season through facilitating people to perform the Umrah. We sincerely hope the pilgrims will gain a highly fulfilling spiritual experience."

Since its launch, Mubadara has facilitated the implementation of several CR programmes towards the overall benefit of the community.

Last year, DPG channelled more than Dhs116m towards distinctive CR activities.
