In what is set to further underline Sharjah's rising prominence as a fashion destination and giving the city's thriving shopper community another reason to cheer, a string of top international fashion labels have confirmed that they would be entering or strengthening their presence in the emirate.

The brands will be setting up their fashion stores in Sharjah's popular landmark, Sharjah City Centre, paving the way for shoppers in the region to look for the best fashion attire, closer to their homes. The outlets will open in the newly redeveloped extension of the Centre.

'A great number of international brands now want to come closer to Sharjah's shoppers and are realising the potential of this Emirate,'

explained Jassim Al Jenahi, General Manager of Sharjah City Centre.

Al Jenahi added, 'Customers in Sharjah are knowledgeable about the latest fashion trends and regularly visit our mall to explore from a wider range of international brands. Fashion retailers are aware of this trend and are rushing to tap the market with their latest collections.'

New Look and H&M will be debuting in Sharjah in a grand way by opening their anchor stores in Sharjah City Centre, while Monsoon, Pierre Cardin, La Senza, Jennyfer and Evans are expanding their presence in the Emirates with additional stores at the Centre.

Bhs, the British fashion and home retailer, has recently opened its store in the mall offering a comprehensive range of competitively priced products.

Sharjah City Centre attracts a high footfall and has evolved as one of the most popular attractions in the emirate. Al Janahi is confident that the inclusion of the new fashion stores following the redevelopment will see a larger number of brand-conscious shoppers coming to the centre.
