BMI inaugurates new branch in East Riffa

Bahrain based BMI Bank yesterday inaugurated its fifth full-service branch in the Kingdom at an official opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony was conducted in the presence of Wahbi Al Alawi Head of Retail Banking Supervision at the Central Bank of Bahrain, Sheikh AbdulMalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili Chairman of BMI, Andrew Bainbridge Chief Executive Officer of BMI, as well as other bank officials, guests and the media.

The branch located in East Riffa will be open Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm and in the evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm.

In addition, BMI also officially unveiled its extended network with 2 new branches at Al Helli and Ramez supermarkets in Tubli and Riffa respectively, as well as 4 new offsite ATM's at Home Electronics in Isa Town, Last Chance supermarket in Manama and stand-alone machines at Hamla and Saar.

Speaking at the launch Andrew Bainbridge, Chief Executive Officer of BMI said:
"I am delighted to announce the launch of our latest branch in Riffa as well as our expanded local network that further strengthens our reach and brings us closer to our customers. Our enhanced customer touch points now include new alternative channels of delivery such as bank@work- a unique financial offering to corporates for their employees, dedicated home and auto loan teams and a dynamic sales team for our customers."


He added, "We have also refreshed our product line and enhanced some of our existing offerings providing our customers with effective and convenient banking solutions. We will continue to develop and introduce innovative products and services that meet and exceed our customers' expectations."

In addition to Sapphire, a designer Premier Banking service for affluent individuals that recognizes their need for exclusive products as well as dedicated relationship management, the new branch will also offer a full array of banking services, enabling customers to take advantage of a comprehensive range of personal financial solutions.

These services have been customized and developed to offer flexibility to our customers and are backed by a team of professional banking staff who will be able to provide personal, helpful and responsive customer service. The range of Retail Banking products and services includes loan and overdraft facilities, credit cards, deposit products, savings accounts, Al Mazyona Saving Certificates, net banking, and remittance services, amongst others.
