Emarat honors summer training students

His Excellency Mohammed Ghanim Al Falasi, Deputy General Manager Finance and Human resources at Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat), honored male and female summer students after completing their training this year.
He said that the corporation has, over the past years, organized training programs for summer students based on its commitment to the strategy that focuses on community service and support of young UAE nationals by developing their capabilities and preparing them for the future.
He stressed the willingness of Emarat to embrace young national competencies from various disciplines that fit the nature of the corporation's activities, while assuring the Emarat's commitment to the recruitment of national cadres in all departments and sections, in order to continuously train nationals and enable them to do the work assigned to them and upgrade their professional careers with the acquisition of more experience and skills.
He also commended the Department of Vocational Career Development at Emarat, which exerts significant efforts in establishing and organizing training courses both for students from abroad or staff, and provides them with skills and knowledge necessary to develop their functional abilities.
Career Development Manager, Dr. Mohamed Buqefell said in an address at the honoring ceremony that the enthusiasm of the summer training students and their efforts in effectively implementing all their assignments demonstrates their good performance at work, dedication and commitment to all work rules at the corporation. He expected a bright future for them in their future career and also praised the parents who motivated their children at this early age for engaging in work activities during the summer period.
He said that the summer training program prepared by the corporation aims to develop the theoretical and practical capabilities of summer students. He linked what they learnt during the program to their preparation for work in the future through identifying and familiarizing themselves with the working environment at a serious and challenging corporation.
He pointed out that Emarat is keen on providing all what is necessary to ensure the public good as part of its commitment to prepare future generations of UAE nationals to contribute effectively and efficiently for the building of their nation. Training included the familiarization of students with work at various sections, departments and divisions at the corporation, and took into account the diversification of expertise by mobilizing students as much as possible between different departments. Field visits were also organized to corporate facilities in Sajaa and the Central Workshop, where they attended lectures on public and work ethics.
The student interns sincerely thanked and uttered their gratitude to Emarat management for their care and attention during the training period, which helped them gain more experience to launch their future career after graduation at a steady pace and with a more open mentality and awareness of life's multiple and complex challenges.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency Mohammed Al Falasi distributed certificates of appreciation and souvenirs and financial rewards to students accompanied Dr. Mohammed Buqefell.
