All Needs General Trading to build upon international success at Halal World Expo
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, August 26 - 2008 at 15:35
- PRESS RELEASE
A UAE-based food importer will introduce its second innovative product to the local and international market at the most comprehensive Halal industry event in the GCC later this year.
The company is hoping to repeat the success of NONIONS, an all natural sautéed onion paste, which was successfully launched at the inaugural Halal exhibition in 2007.
Halal World Expo brings together Halal industry professionals from around the world, including North America, Serbia, Bosnia, Malaysia and Holland, to source new suppliers, develop strategic partnerships and launch products.
All Needs General Trading reported commercial success at the event last year where they secured distributors for NONIONS in Qatar, Kuwait and Brunei - Darussalam.
Ashwin Ruchani, Marketing Manager for the company, hopes to continue the momentum they built at Halal World Expo in 2007 by launching Sippy Corn and sourcing more worldwide distributors for NONIONS.
"Our products are unique in the market because they are entirely natural. We are able to ensure quality and the highest standards from the farming process to the supermarket shelf because of the infrastructure of the company," said Ruchani.
"Halal World Expo was instrumental in the success of launching NONIONS and as such, is now available in all supermarket, hypermarkets and food services in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Japan, and in food services trials in Australia, Singapore and Brunei - Darussalam. Visitors to the event this year will be able to taste our products and I am confident we will get another positive response," he added.
Sippy Corn is unique because the sweet corn kernels are not frozen or canned, but packaged in aluminium retort pouches which keep them fresh for up to 12 months without refrigeration stored at room temperature, or for up to 15 days once opened and refrigerated.
While the product is more cost effective for retailers due to the lack of freezing or cooling requirements, it is also healthier for consumers because there are no preservatives such as those found in canned goods.
As consumers in the UAE and around the world continue to seek natural and organic produce, All Needs General Trading believes their products can help retailers meet that demand.
"All Needs General Trading was a great success story from the inaugural Halal World Expo in 2007," said Christine Weaver, Exhibitions Director for IIR Middle East, the organiser of the event.
"The company executed a well planned marketing campaign to launch their first product because they were able to make direct contact with potential distributors and suppliers."
Halal World Expo, taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 11-13 November 2008, offers organisations in food production and manufacturing, Islamic finance, pharmaceuticals and lifestyle products, the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and enhance business requirements.
The cross cultural influence and growing awareness of health-related benefits have been dominant factors resulting in an increased acceptability of Halal practice throughout the world.
The exhibition is unique for its dedicated Halal Forum, which provides an excellent opportunity for exhibitors and senior buyers to discuss products and major issues in the Halal industry. Halal World Expo further serves to acquaint exhibitors with prospective distributors, suppliers, and consumers with Business Connect, a programme facilitating one-to-one meetings to establish business relationships.
Originating from the capital and business hub of the UAE, Halal World Expo will be the only regional event to centre on Halal products and services with a global focus aiming to cater to a growing demand for Halal products worldwide.
