Investment House appoints Hani Obaid as new CEO

Investments House, one of the leading investment business ventures in the region with its head office in the Emirate of Dubai, appoints Mr. Hani Obeid as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Hani Obeid has over 15 years of experience working in Management Consulting and Strategic Advisory roles both in the Middle Eastern and Western hemispheres such that Obeid has been appointed to be a member of the UAE Free Trade Agreement Negotiation Team with countries like the US, Singapore, and Australia.

Dr. Mosaab Jassim, Chairman-Board of Directors expressed his happiness for appointing Hani Obaid as the new chief Executive Officer wishing him greatest success in his role and endeavor. He said:

Furthermore, Hani Obeid expressed his gratitude for this appointment reassuring his greatest efforts in benefiting the Investments House with his expertise in raising the company's reputation into international standards.

He said: "Quality Performance and Project Management will be our theme in the forthcoming period. The regional markets witnessed great progress and development in the Arab world lately. The UAE environment encourages investment in different fields and activities".

Hani Obeid has led the development of an ecommerce regulatory framework for the UAE while serving in the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and has headed the business development and consulting service arm for Tejari.com, Obeid has led key strategic advisory initiatives for several private and public entities in Canada, some of whom include GlaxoSmithKline, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Canadian Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Canadian Ministry of Environment, and the Canadian Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

His extensive experience also extends to providing strategic advice to a number of various industry verticals including: Automotive; Transportation; Retail; Energy; Oil & Gas; Health; Financial; Manufacturing; and Civil Aviation.

Obeid has a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Oregon State University (OSU) and an MBA in International Trade and Governance from University of Ottawa; is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) from the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC) and a Six Sigma Green Belt from General Electric Company Quality Discipline.

Realizing that Obeid's experience covers such strategic roles to various industry verticals, this experience will compliment Investments House mission in growing to become a solid local, regional and global player.
