RJ passenger numbers rise 18%

Royal Jordanian transported 278,000 passengers in July compared to 236,000 during the same period last year, an increase of 18%, the carrier said. The airline attributed the growth to its increased flight frequencies, which rose 5% from 2817 flights in July 2007 to 3244 flights last month. The airline's seat factor in July reached 81%, up 5% over July 2007.
