Central Complaints Committee held its first meeting

The Central Complaints Committee held today its first meeting at the Executive Council's HQ in Emirates Tower.

The meeting was headed by Khalfan Ahmad Hareb, committee chairman and his deputy Abdul Rahman Ganem Al Matyoui, and a representative from the Executive Council to discuss the necessary arrangements prior to the launch of the committee.

H.E Khalfan Hareb discussed the tasks of the committee, pointing out the broad lines which will run through the committee work to achieve fairness and integrity in order to gain the trust and appreciation among government employees which will be reflected in a positive and attractive work environment.

At the end of the meeting, the members agreed to distribute the tasks and responsibilities and start working to officially launch the committee this coming October.

The meeting comes after the decision of Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to set up a committee to look into complaints lodged by employees at all departments and institutions of Dubai government.
