Damas profit soars to 133%

Damas International Ltd has reported a 132.9% jump in net profit, hitting Dhs164.8m during the first half of 2008, Gulf News has reported. The company has raised in July $270.6m in its initial public offering and has opened 42 new stores to bring the total to 467.
