DNRD to remain open from 8am to 4pm during Ramadan

Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DNRD) announced today the working hours for its employees during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Major-General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director of DNRD, said that the department had already been following flexible working hours during the entire year to make it convenient for its customers, and will do so for the first time during Ramadan as well. He said that the alternating timings will result in more working hours for the customers and less for the employees.
Al Marri explained that DNRD employees will work for five hours in different shifts during Ramadan, while the department will remain open from 8am to 4pm to make it convenient for the customers complete their transactions on the same day.
Al Marri revealed that DNRD asked the opinions of its employees and customers to decide on the most suitable timings during the Holy Month, and added that based on the results of the survey conducted by the Department of Performance Development at DNRD, the new flexible working hours system was adopted, ensuring that it is suitable for both the employees and the customers.
