OmanOil and Nawras launch e-recharge at filling stations
The nation's premier fuel and lubricants marketing company, Oman Oil Marketing Company (OmanOil) has partnered with Nawras, the Sultanate's customer-friendly communications provider, to launch the first of its kind e-recharge service in the Sultanate.

Starting from August 30th, customers will be able to recharge their prepaid mobile accounts by paying cash or using their basmaCards.
Utilizing world-leading technology which is both safe and secure, the e-recharge service is the ultimate in convenience for Nawras pre-paid tariff customers. The service will be available at 28 select OmanOil filling stations across the Sultanate where the minimum recharge credit is OR1. Customers are only required to provide their mobile phone number and amount of calling credit requested, of which they will receive an SMS confirming that the recharge was successful once payment is made.
In a joint statement OmanOil CEO, Omar A. Qatan and Nawras CEO, Ross Cormack, said:

They went on to say, 'We are truly excited about the potential of this pleasingly different new service and charting new territories of customer care and convenience.'
