Qtel, Zain to bid for Iran licence

Qtel and Zain have expressed interest to bid for Tehran's third mobile licence, according to a MEED report. Iran's communications and IT ministry has issued the invitation for potential bidders on 25th August. UAE's Etisalat has declined to comment if it will proceed with plans to bid for a licence as well.
