Flip talks online growth in Qatar

Flip Media CEO Yousef Tuqan said in a Qatar forum that Middle East businesses are missing out on online opportunities and has advised Qatar companies to build their web presence, during a Qatar Science & Technology Park TECHtalk seminar. Despite increases in online advertising, Tuqan mentioned the total in 2007 came to just $35m, or less than 1% of what Middle East companies spend offline.
