A special UK-themed edition of the program will be aired every Monday evening as part of a month-long Ramadan campaign aimed at entertaining viewers whilst raising their awareness of Britain as a leading destination for Arab families, says the tourism agency.
"Families from the Gulf make up the majority of our Middle East visitor traffic and these competitions are a great way for viewers to learn interesting facts about Britain and the many family-friendly activities the region has to offer year round,"
said Carol Maddison, Marketing Manager, VisitBritain UAE.
The UK has long been a favourite destination for GCC travellers, with an extensive range of family-oriented tourist attractions bringing in an increasing number of visitors each year - making this region one of its most important and fastest-growing tourism markets.
The initiative is part of VisitBritain's 'Be Inspired' marketing campaign, a special project aimed at showcasing the diverse opportunities, unique experiences, and world-class services on offer in one the world's most popular visitor destinations in the world.
