ATG launches Altherma, the cost effective alternative to fuel boiler

Arab Technical Group (ATG), one of the leading commercial engineering companies in Jordan and the region, has launched the new environment friendly heating system 'Altherma' in the Jordanian market.

The cost effective system, which was launched in collaboration with the Japanese Daikin company, uses alternative energy, saving up 50% of the conventional heating system bill.

According to ATG, instead of burning fuel or gas, this unique system uses the free solar energy available in the outside air and doesn't affect the Ozone or contributes to the CO2 emission phenomenon.

"We are pleased to be the first to introduce this system to the Jordanian market. This product, which is extensively used in the developed countries, received the appreciation of both the private and public sectors here in the Kingdom," said ATG's General Manager Engineer Emile Ghoury during a convention that was held on this occasion.

The convention, which was attended by the manager of Jordan Institution for Standards and Metrology Dr. Yassin El Khayyat, included presentations on the efficiency of this system, the operational costs and the effectiveness of Altherma. The presentations were delivered by Belgian expert Ton Boty and ATG's Deputy General Manager Engineer Rahi Al Asad.

"The introduction of this product to the Jordanian market is in line with ATG's strategy to offer the best energy efficient alternatives in a time that witnesses difficult economic situations as oil prices continue to increase," Ghoury explained.

Altherma, represents a total solution for a single dwelling. It can provide space heating, domestic hot water and cooling as an option and therefore equates to a boiler with the added facility of cooling.
