Diwan al Sultan - a unique Ramadan experience at Doha Marriott

During the holy month of Ramadan, the Doha Marriott is pleased to welcome all guests to Diwan al Sultan, the traditional Ramadan tent located at the Al Fayrouz Ballroom. Diwan al Sultan offers a true Oriental atmosphere to experience Iftar and Sohour.

At Diwan al Sultan, Iftar is served from the call of Magrib prayer until 7:30 pm and offers all the traditional juices and foods for breaking the fast. At 9:00 pm, Diwan al Sultan offers a great Sohour buffet with a variety of cooking stations along with live entertainment.

The Ramadan tent which reminds of time honored traditions and memorable moments with family and friends is sponsored by Doha Bank and Turkish Airlines.

The tent has a capacity to comfortably seat over 250 persons in an elegant, traditional design with opulently adorned tables and cozy seating areas. Traditional live entertainment completes the setting for a memorable evening with entertainers from across the Middle East fill the tent with their lyrical performances. Shisha connoisseurs may also look forward to savoring a range of plain and flavored tobacco varieties.

All guests coming for Iftar and Sohour will delight in a lavish buffet spread like no other. This feast for the senses includes live cooking and sage bread stations and different dishes from cuisines of the region. It features Ramadan juices, wide varieties of traditional food items mixed grills, shawerma, kharouf, atayaf and kounafa, Oriental mezzas, soups, salads, snacks, and sweets. If guests would like to supplement the buffet, they may order from our a la carte menu for a selection hot and cold beverages.

For those who prefer privacy, the Doha Marriott also offers special in-room Iftar menus. During the holy month of Ramadan Corniche, the Mediterranean Restaurant, and All' Aperto, the Italian Restaurant, will open regular hours and services. Lunch and dinner buffets will feature Mediterranean and International cuisines. Also the renowned Friday Brunch will be offered throughout Ramadan. Asia Live! will be open for dinner from 7:00 pm - 11:30 pm offering a great selection of a la carte, Teppanyaki and Sushi. Salsa, Taj Rasoi and Pearl Lounge will be closed throughout Ramadan and will reopen on the first day of Eid. The Lobby will be open from 6 pm until 12 midnight.

To break the fasting period and celebrate Eid ul-Fitr the Doha Marriott presents a special Eid Gallery Brunch offering a plethora of culinary delights while enjoying finest hospitality on the 1st and 2nd day of Eid, 12.00 - 03.00 pm.
