ENDP celebrates graduation of 100 UAE nationals trained at NIVE

The Emirates National Development Program (ENDP), a program under the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), celebrated the graduation of 100 UAE nationals trained at the National Institute of Vocational Education (NIVE).
The 100 students were trained in different areas ie. customer service in the Banking sector, customer service for the retail sector and the essentials of banking.
Since its establishment in 2005, ENDP has committed itself to providing its registrants with the training and up skilling they require to cope with their responsibilities. This combined with NIVE's practical approach encourages students to strive for the highest standards of performance.
The graduates have received a certificate from Edxel, which would help them integrate in the job market and take up further education with international universities and colleges.

ENDP was established in November 2005 with the objective of increasing the presence of UAE nationals in the private sector. Since its inception, the program has helped over employ over 3000 applicants in the private sector.
ENDP adopts four main strategies i.e. recognition, attraction, training, and follow up. The programs target major players and key sectors in the national economy to help promote the employment of UAE nationals. These sectors include tourism, trade, real estate, banking, insurance, and quasi governmental agencies.
