Saudi Arabia's exports hit $233bn

Saudi Arabia's exports reached a record high of more than $233bn last year, according to the Kingdom's General Statistics and Information Authority. The record was achieved despite a 5% decline in the volume from 429,000 tonnes in 2006, to nearly 408,000 tonnes last year. The UAE was the Kingdom's top market in the GCC.
