DME names Leaver as new CEO

Dubai Mercantile Exchange has named Thomas Leaver as its new chief executive officer, replacing Gary King. Leaver had served as the exchange's chief operating officer since it started in May 2006. Before joining the DME, Leaver was the senior manager with RAB Capital Plc's commodities fund in London and helped set up the trading arm for TransCanada Pipelines.
