The pair will initially assist head teaching professional Chris Kelby in putting the finishing touches to the Club's all new golf academy which is due to open in mid-November.

The trio will also be busy launching autumn tuition packages for juniors and ladies which will be held both at the Bahrain Golf Club's driving range and at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain, Hotel & Spa.

Oliver Brown, aged 26, comes from Cambridge and qualified as a PGA professional at the beginning of 2007.

Prior to moving to Bahrain he worked as a full-time coach at Hilden Park Golf Club in Kent.

Martin Robinson, 23, is from the Wirral near Liverpool and previously worked at the prestigious Caldy Golf Club in Wirral.

In July of this year he was responsible for conducting coaching sessions for junior golfers during The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale Golf Club.

"I am delighted to welcome Oliver and Martin to the team," said Kelby.

"We had a phenomenal number of applicants for the jobs on offer and I'm confident that they are the best choices, particularly in view of our overall brief to further develop the sport of golf within Bahrain. Oliver has excellent past experience in setting up and developing a junior golf academy and Martin is a fully qualified Neuro Linguistic Programming sports practitioner - a very practical form of sports psychology."
