MediaCom appoints new CEOs for EMEA and UK

Stephen Allan, MediaCom's newly appointed global Chairman & CEO, has announced two new promotions within MediaCom's management team, including new CEOs for MediaCom EMEA and for MediaCom UK.

Nick Lawson, who has been serving as MediaCom UK's CEO since 2005 and prior to that as Joint Managing Director, has been appointed CEO of MediaCom EMEA.

"Nick joined MediaCom almost 20 years ago, and has shown time and time again a great talent for bringing together diverse personalities and getting them to work single-mindedly towards one goal, " says Stephen Allan. "His drive, determination, and passion for MediaCom inspires all around him. Nick is the ideal leader for MediaCom in the very complex and important EMEA region."

Nick Lawson: "We already have tremendously talented people in the EMEA region. To grow our business, I want to build on these talents, give them more tools and support as well as a richer networking platform on which to build. I am looking forward to taking our already strong EMEA team to an even higher level."

Nick's appointment is effective September 1, 2008. He will be based in London.

Nick's replacement as CEO at MediaCom UK is Jane Ratcliffe, previously Managing Director at MediaCom UK. Jane started her career at BMP, and joined MediaCom in 1992, where she was appointed Joint Managing Director in 1999 and was named sole Managing Director in 2005. Jane knows the UK business inside out, and shares with Nick a clear vision for MediaCom's direction. As well as having a tremendous work ethic, Jane always shows real care for MediaCom's people and clients.

Nick Lawson: "Jane has fantastic insights into the UK market, as well as a real passion for what we do. After working with her for so many years, I would not have wanted anyone else taking on the CEO position. I am pleased that she has agreed to take on this role. "

Jane Ratcliffe: "MediaCom UK is already a very successful business, but there is always more to be done. I know that we can take our work for our clients to a higher level and I know we can develop our people and our business further, a challenge I am thrilled to have in front of me."

Jane will begin her role as CEO of MediaCom UK effective immediately, and will continue to be based in London.
