Ahli Bank's recently introduced MyHassad Savings Scheme will now give back to orphanages, schools, women's associations and NGO's for special children OR1000 in cash or utilities every day of the holy month.

MyHassad will present these organizations located across Oman with cash or utilities such as Wheelchairs, school bags, and other requirements worth OR1000 every day.

Commenting on this initiative, Mr. AbdulAziz Al Balushi, CEO of Ahli Bank, said:

"Ahli Bank has witnessed a successful year with sturdy growth on all quarters. MyHassad Savings has also received a tremendous response from our customers since its launch in July '08. It is now our turn to give back to the community and we're doing this by way of MyHassad's donation drive during the holy month of Ramadhan. We are particularly delighted in supporting and contributing to the development of the Omani society in Ramadan as it demonstrates the spirit of giving at this special time of the year. We at Ahli Bank are very keen to continue to participate in such endeavors all around the year as we feel it is very important to reach out to the community at large. We hope that this donation will bring a measure of joy and happiness to each of these organizations."

Support by way of donations in cash or in kind in different Wilayats will be used to fulfill the basic needs of impoverished people or charity organisations that require funding to smoothly run their operations to help the needy or special children.

Mr. Al Balushi further added, "As a reputable bank in Oman, we at Ahli Bank are committed in playing our role as a responsible corporate citizen. Although this is the first charity campaign of its kind undertaken by us, we believe it will be a success and we will be able to make a difference to some lives.

MyHassad saving plan will continue to have a daily draw of OR1,000 with a minimum customer's deposit amount of OR100.

Every customer is eligible on a daily basis with a minimum deposit of OR100; however, there is no limit of maximum investment.

There is no subscription fee and it offers customers a very high and the speediest winning opportunity i.e. on a daily basis, with deposits as old as 24 hours only.
