PepsiCo signs partnership agreement with Hilton and Conrad hotels in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon

PepsiCo has signed a partnership and cooperation agreement with Hilton and Conrad hotels in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon, for PepsiCo's products of carbonated soft drinks (Seven Up- Pepsi- Miranda), bottled waters "Aquafina", and Snacks (Chipsy-Doritos).

The agreement was signed by Adel Garas PepsiCo-Egypt Managing Director and Mahmoud Mokhtar, Country Manager for Hilton Hotels Corporation in Egypt.

Mr. Adel Garas stated that this partnership enjoys all the factors of success, as the agreement epitomizes cooperation and coordination between two leading brands. Adel Garas expressed his hope that this partnership is a nucleus for a deeper and bigger partnership between two mega corporations in the world in food and tourism industries.

Mr. Adel Garas also said that this partnership will result in many advantages, the first of which is promoting products of PepsiCo-International in many countries, such as Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan, through a good presence in hotels and restaurants frequented by la crème du la crème of the society, which means attracting new customers for our products that we are sure to capture the likeness of top customers.

Mr. Adel Garas added that PepsiCo is committed to provide the best service for our new partners by keeping on promoting our products and continually introducing what is new to provide the best quality in the Egyptian market to make Hilton and Conrad Hotels proud of offering PepsiCo products in their beverages.

Mr. Adel Garas said that PepsiCo-International owns Pepsi-Cola Egypt and Chipsy for Food Industries, which are of the leading companies in the production of carbonated soft drinks and salted snacks with the biggest market share, as Chipsy product boasts the highest sales among all other products of snacks. Moreover, Aquafina is now the leading product in the market of bottled waters.

Mr. Adel Garas commented that PepsiCo owns 10 factories in Egypt, in addition to 50 sale centers all over the republic, with 10 thousand employees and L.E350m worth of investments.
Mr. Mokhtar commented:

Hilton Hotels currently operates 18 Hilton and Conrad hotels in Egypt, with another four properties under development in Luxor, Beirut, and Amman and Aqaba in Jordan.
