Nominations from the general public will be assessed by a hand-picked panel of community leaders, with the nominees, and their work, being recognized at The Inspire Dubai Awards ceremony.
"We believe that Inspire Dubai will not only recognize our 'unsung heroes', but also strengthen the sense of community among expatriates and nationals alike,"
said Zoe Cooper-Clark, Publisher, Time Out Dubai.
"The Awards will highlight the achievements of people who care about their community and are willing to walk that extra mile to help and support one another, making Dubai a better place for everyone. We're delighted that Time Out Dubai will be helping to put the city's truly extraordinary people in the spotlight," Cooper-Clark added.
Inspire Dubai aims to recognize major achievements in the following categories: Life Saver of the Year, Guardian of the Year, Charity Worker of the Year, Educator of the Year, Inspiring Personality of the Year, Child of Bravery, Young Achiever of the Year, Environmental Achiever of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award and a Special Recognition Award.
Nominations are not restricted to a specific category. Both organisations and members of the public are encouraged to nominate people who they feel deserve to be recognised for their extraordinary achievements. Nominations can be submitted through the official website of Inspire Dubai Awards.
The event is organized by ITP Consumer publishing and is held on the 30th November.
