Mohammad Khamis Bin Hareb, Executive Director of Operations and Marketing in the DTCM, said:
"The organizing committee always looks for new activities in every cycle. Our purpose is to consolidate the meanings of this religious event and strengthen the spirit of diversity and uniformity in Ramadan's forum."
Furthermore, Ahmed Abdullah Al Tunaiji, Director of Media & Advertising Department in DTCM, said:
"The forum was very successful during the last 6 years that is why we were highly interested in the participation of young business leaders this year. The souq coincides with the other activities of the forum and unites with its theme "Ghars Al Islam". It is a combination of tourism, culture and economy."
Al Tunaiji confirmed that the organizing committee will examine the results of this event after the end of the 7th forum to adopt new ideas for its development in the next coming years. He also thanked Mohammad Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, the gold sponsor of the forum, and their efforts in achieving success to the event, participation in organizing the souq's exhibition and selecting the exhibitors and young business leaders.
Abdul Basit Al Janahi, Executive Director of Mohammad Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, said:
"The ramadani souq is organized for the first time in cooperation with the Dubai Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM). We strongly believe and encourage young business leaders to creativity, innovation and participation in such important events."
He added that Mohammad Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders put in consideration the economic and religious values of the event while choosing the exhibitors.
"We also stress on the social side and human interaction between the different categories of the society. The emirate of Dubai is certainly the model example of development and progress," he said.
The Executive Director of Mohammad Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders referred that the souq achieves two goals; a commercial aspect that displays exhibited products and a human factor that stresses confidence and enthusiasm among young business leaders. These factors encourage them to achieve creativity and innovation. The establishment addressed various organizations beginning with members of the Mohammad Establishment of Young Business Leaders itself, Intelaaq, Princess Haya Bin Al Hussein Center, Handicapped Centers, and other organizations who have experiences in this field.
Al janahi pointed out that the souq was organized in a very modern technique to attract all the visitors so they get acquainted to all its sections and booths.
"We provided the sections with 48 exhibitors, enough lighting, decorations and air conditions with nominal prices. The souq includes audio and visual recordings of social and cultural issues, accessories, garments, jewellery, cosmetics, perfumes, handicrafts, foodstuff and beverages. It also comprised heritage items that coincide with the "Ghars Al Islam—forum's theme", Eid products and all the necessary items for families during the holy month of Ramadan," he added.
Al Janahi explained that the Mohammad Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders encourages all the younger generations to participate in such events and compete with the public souqs in the emirate of Dubai.
