Madinat Al Fahaheel to host special Ramadan program

Tamdeen Shopping Centers Company announces a series of special activities that are part of an extensive social program which will take place at Madinat Al Fahaheel (Al Kout and Al Manshar Shopping Centers) at Fahaheel during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Unique activities and programs were devised for families to promote family unity and Ramadan awareness at Madinat Al Fahaheel. These activities range from workshops for designing 'Gerge'an' bags, heritage workshops for kids, clothing donation boxes and much more. Unique entertainment programs have also been devised for and with patients with special needs in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to raise awareness and help these patients interact with society through 2 tailor-made programs.

Tamdeen will be hosting the Handicapped patients at Al Kout Shopping Center for 5 days from the 9th - 13th of September. These 5 fun-filled days include live workshops and performances from the patients, and a display of their hand-made arts & crafts. A huge opening ceremony is set to take place on the first night (September 9th) with live performances from the patients, which will be presided over by top government officials and VIP guests. The week will end with a special Gergean finale performance on September 13th directed and performed by the patients.

Part of the ethos of Tamdeen Shopping Centers is to support local communities and its support for this program demonstrates the company's commitment to working with and for its local communities.

Tamdeen Shopping Centers has also teamed up with Kuwait National Cinema Company (KNCC) and Fun Ahoy Theme Park owned by Portfolio Project Management Company to organize a series of "Fun Nights Out" for mentally or physically handicapped patients in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. The patients are invited for fun-filled nights every Wednesday throughout Ramadan to Al Manshar & Al Kout Shopping Centers to enjoy complimentary activities and dinner at Fun Ahoy Theme park and then proceed to watch a movie at KNCC's Al-Kout Cinema.

"Our Ramadan program has been designed to reflect the concept of giving and sharing and to help make Ramadan more enjoyable for everyone. We hope to encourage more awareness of special needs patients through our wide range of activities. At Tamdeen, we are devoted to supporting all aspects of the community," Al-Sarawi added.

With its superb blend of Islamic architecture and urban design, Madinat Al Fahaheel provides a perfect venue to host one of Kuwait's largest Ramadan festivals to promote this special time of the year.
